If you are still reading this blog, we have moved again, this time to http://preciousmemries.blogspot.com/.  See you there.

Thanks to those mommies who have left comments, and sorry for not being able to reply sooner.  Have been feeling very tired, with lots of wind in tummy, bloatedness and nausea.  Due to the hormones, my digestive system is in chaos now.  So I have been feeling quite bad, and lying down is the only comfortable position for me right now.  Appetite is bad, I only eat about 1/4 of what I used to eat.  So if any mommies have any remedies for the gas and bloatedness, please please let me know.  I am also very sensitive to smells this time round.  Any kind of smell, be it food, cleaning detergent, soap, shampoo.

During these couple of weeks, I am extremely grateful to both my mum and mum-in-law for helping me with Sarah and the meals.  Some people may think the age gap between Sarah and this little one is big, but for me, I am glad it is so, cos Sarah is old enough to take care of herself, play by herself, when I am not able to do anything with her.  When I am feeling too terrible, she will make funny faces to cheer me up, and she understands when I tell her that mommy is not well and needs to rest and is not able to read/play with her.

I try to stay cheerful and keep a thankful heart for this blessing, but I sure hope these sickness and symptoms will be over soon.

I get so tired recently.  Have been sleeping early every night, and napping in the afternoon, but still very tired.  The nausea started yesterday, and I thank God it is not as bad as the first pregnancy, and I pray it remains this way.  People tell me that for 2nd pregnancy, the tummy shows earlier.  It seems to be so for me.  It is still very early, but my tummy is slightly bigger now.  Hubby says it is all gas.  I think partly so as I have been burping A LOT these days.

Heavenly Father, I pray for a smooth pregnancy, and for me to be able to enjoy this blessing of Yours.

We went on a picnic on Saturday with the entire family. Praise the Lord for a cool evening. The sky was overcast but did not rained. The adults enjoyed the food while the young ones had a ball of a time playing soccer. It would have been a wonderful evening, if not for an incident at the end which ended the day for me on a bad note.

Just shortly before we packed up to go, I was chatting with my sis-in-law while keeping an eye on Sarah who was playing ball with her older cousins and an Indian boy who had joined the olders kids in soccer earlier. I took my eyes off her occasionally, and when I turned back to her, I saw her holding on to the ball and she seemed to be talking to the Indian boy. Suddenly, the boy just very roughly hit the ball away from her hands and snatched it off. I think my girl was too shocked that she started to cry very badly. Now, as a parent, what would you do?

A surprise, an answered prayer, a thankful heart, mixed feelings. A new season is about to begin in not only my life, but Alfred’s and Sarah’s too.
